About San Francisco

If you’re going to San Francisco, release your inhibitions and just be yourself. Good times and social revolutions tend to start here. Every neighborhood in San Francisco has its own personality, from the hippies of the Haight to the hipsters of the Mission. The Marina district boasts trendy bistros and picture perfect views of the Golden Gate Bridge, while Noe Valley offers quiet boutiques and rays of sunshine. As you wander and explore this 7-by-7-mile city, you’ll notice San Francisco's Victorian rooflines, wind-sculpted treetops and fog tumbling over the Golden Gate Bridge. Make sure you bring plenty of layers as you’ll surely experience neighborhood microclimates and are bound to encounter Karl the fog. This somewhat outlandish city will give you goose bumps one minute, and warm you to the core the next.

Points of interest include, but are not limited to: Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park, Pier 39, Alcatraz, China Town, the Ferry Building, Haight Street, the De Young, Alamo Square, and Dolores Park.
