About Hoi An

Noted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hoi An is Vietnam’s most atmospheric and delightful town. Already a common stop for backpackers, this graceful town is becoming a better known spot for tourists. Despite the tourist business replacing some of its residents and rice fields, the Old Town has successfully preserved its history and legacy of Japanese houses, Chinese temples as well as ancient tea warehouses. On the 14th day of each lunar month, Hoi An trades its electric lights for traditional colored lanterns. Sights and points of interest include, but are not limited to: the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Tan Ky House, the Quan Cong Temple, and of course the Old Town.
